Who you invited is personal. With GateProof there's no event page, no public listing and no platform account holding your guests' names and contacts. Everything lives on your devices.
Guests don't download anything
Each guest receives a pass as a PDF or image — by message, email or however you already talk to them. At the door they show the QR code; nobody has to install an app or create an account.
Fake or reused passes stand out
Passes are cryptographically signed, so a made-up or edited QR code shows INVALID. A pass that's already been used shows ALREADY USED — obvious at a glance, even for a volunteer on their first shift.
Works in a field, a vineyard or a basement
Scanning is entirely local, so a weak signal at the venue doesn't matter. If you use more than one entrance, the devices sync with each other over Wi-Fi or directly.
How it works
- Create the event with its date and venue.
- Paste your guest list or import the spreadsheet you already keep.
- Send each guest their pass through Messages, WhatsApp, email or any app in the share sheet.
- Activate the event on the day and hand a phone to whoever is at the door.
- Scan each guest in — green means welcome, amber means the pass was already used.
Questions organizers ask
How much does it cost for a wedding?
One credit per pass, and the app starts you with 40 free credits. A 150-guest wedding uses 150 credits: the 40 free ones plus packs from the App Store. No percentage, no subscription.
What if a guest forgets their pass?
Open that guest's ticket in the app and share it again, or show its QR code to the scanner at the door.
Does it work without signal?
Yes. Every pass is verified on the scanning device itself, with no internet needed.
