Event ticketing with no percentage fees
Most ticketing platforms take a percentage or a fee on every ticket you sell. GateProof doesn't: you issue signed QR passes yourself, check guests in on iPhone or iPad, and pay one prepaid credit per pass — whatever your ticket costs.
Get the appA fee that grows with your ticket price
A percentage fee means a more expensive ticket costs more to issue, even though the work is the same. Whether it comes out of your revenue or is added to what your audience pays, part of every sale goes to the platform. With GateProof a pass costs one credit, for a community night and a gala dinner alike.
You keep taking payment your own way
GateProof doesn't process payments. Guests pay you directly — bank transfer, card reader, payment link, invoice or membership dues — and the money is yours from the start, with no payout date to wait for. Once someone has paid, you issue their pass.
Who this suits
Organizers who already know their guests or already collect payment themselves: clubs and societies, community theatre, dance weekends, association dinners, galas, conferences with invoiced registration, school and charity events.
When a ticketing platform is the better choice
If you need a public event page, online checkout or people discovering your event through a marketplace, a ticketing platform earns its fee. GateProof offers none of that: it issues passes and runs the door.
Your guest list stays yours
There's no account and no ticketing backend. Names and emails stay on your devices — not on a platform's servers.

How it works
- Export your attendee list from wherever it lives today — a spreadsheet, a registration form or your current ticketing tool — as CSV or Excel.
- Import it into GateProof. Columns like name, email, ticket type, seat and zone are detected automatically, and nothing is created until you've reviewed the summary.
- Share passes through the iOS share sheet, or export a distribution pack with a mail-merge file for your own email tool.
- Activate the event. That's when credits are spent: one per pass issued.
- Scan at the door: VALID, ALREADY USED or INVALID in under a second, with or without internet.
Questions organizers ask
Is GateProof completely free?
No. Each pass costs one prepaid credit, bought in packs through the App Store, which shows the price for your country. What you never pay is a percentage of your ticket price or a subscription. The app starts you with 40 free credits — enough for a 40-guest event.
Does GateProof sell tickets online?
No. It has no checkout and no public event page. You take payment however you prefer and issue a pass once someone has paid.
Do my guests need an app or an account?
No. A pass is just a QR code in a PDF or image. Only the team at the door uses GateProof, on iPhone or iPad.
Can I bring over the list from the tool I use today?
Yes, if it exports attendees as CSV, TSV or Excel. Import the file, review the summary, and each row becomes a signed pass.
What does a large event cost?
One credit per pass, so a 300-guest event uses 300 credits. Credit packs are bought in the app; the App Store shows the price for your country.
